Kemptville District Hospital Foundation

KDH is a community hospital, serving a large catchment area including Prescott, Spencerville, Merrickville, Mountain, South Mountain, Osgoode, Kars and Manotick. Over the last year KDH has accomplished so much. In October, KDH launched mammography services to provide life-saving screening for local women. Although the community was outstanding in pulling together to raise funds to offset the cost of the $500,000 machine, about 10% remains outstanding. Through the Response Rodeo 1: Showdown in K-Town, we endeavor to "put a dent in the last ten percent!"

North Grenville Accessible Transportation

NGAT was founded in 1990 after a need for affordable accessible transportation for mobility challenged members of North Grenville was identified and answered by local supporters. Now, 2 busses provide approximately 200 rides per month. NGAT's board of directors are strictly volunteer and they rely solely on funding from, The Municipality, United way, service groups and corporate/private donations. It costs $25,000 per year to keep the busses rolling and we endeavor to provide NGAT with, at least, a 1 year operating budget cushion through the Response Rodeo 1: Showdown in K-Town.
